What Happened With Bell, Lucky and Their Kits, Chapter Eight

“We’re home everybody! Aren’t you excited?” Bell yelped with joy.
But as she looked around, everyone was falling ill. They were too weak to stand up and they were moaning. Their fur was falling off, and they were coughing.
“Guys? What’s happening!” she screamed out loud.
“Oh for fur’s sake! What cat can get a wink of sleep around here if you’re thrashing around in your sleep! Honestly! What’s wrong, Bell?” Tiger meowed.
“Sorry. I had a nightmare. It was horrible. You guys were just walking around and out of nowhere, you guys just started to fall ill. You were coughing and- and your fur was falling out! Oh it was horrible,” Bell cried, burying her face in Lucky’s fur.
“It’s okay Bell,” he mewed comfortingly.
“What if it comes true?” Smokey asked.
When Bell heard that she cried even harder and louder.
“That’s not gonna happen Smokey!” Taz mewed.
All this talking left Bell wondering if it was all going to come true.
Would it? I mean come on would that honestly happen? What is that? What is tha-
Bell was left unconscious. She didn’t see what hit her either.
When she woke up she was walking with Lucky, Taz, Pearl, Shine, Night, Stripes, Benny, Quin, Tiger, Smokey, Lion, Star, Sunny, and Cookie. They all started to fall ill, and their fur was falling out. They were coughing up blood, and she heard a voice, “Seek the one who will help you and you will find the way.
Apparently she wasn’t awake earlier, because she bolted up and screamed so loud she was sure everyone in the world could hear it.
“What’s wrong! What’s wrong!” Tiger yowled.
“A- a- a pr-pr-proph-prophec-prophecy! The prophecy! Ahhhh! Oh it was hor-horrible!” Bell screamed and writhed around on the ground.
Why did she have to suffer? She heard it again.
Seek the one who will help you, it will be someone you know and hate, and you… will… find… the… way.
